Axes
SINOTOOLS quality axes are used for millennia to shape, split and cut wood, to harvest timber, as a weapon, and as a ceremonial or heraldic symbol. The quality axe has many forms and specialized uses but generally consists of an axe head with a handle, or helve. The axe is an example of a simple machine, as it is a type of wedge, or dual inclined plane. Our quality axes have steel heads and wooden handles, typically hickory in the US and ash in Europe and Asia. Plastic or fibreglass handles are also available. Also we do splitting mauls. So if you have any enquiries, please feel free to contact us.

-Material: A quality axe should be made of a durable material such as carbon steel or high grade stainless steel. This will give the axe head more strength and a longer life.
-Blade: The blade of the axe should be sharp and balanced, with a sharp edge that can easily cut through wood or other materials.
-Handle: The handle of a quality axe must be strong and durable and made of different materials depending on the purpose. Hickory or ash wood, for example, are suitable for chopping axes. Fiberglass handles are light weight and suitable for smaller axes.
-Weight: Depending on the application, the right quality axes must have the appropriate weight specifications. Logging requires a heavy duty axe head. For activities such as outdoor camping, a light and portable axe is required.
Overall, a quality axe is one that is well made, comfortable to use, and capable of performing its intended task effectively.
